Canadian Actress Emily Irene VanCamp was born on 12 May 1986 in Port Perry, Ontria, Canada. In her family she has three sister named Molly, Katie and Alison. She speaks French language fluently.
Emily first film in her acting career was a Canadian – American horror/fantasy –themed anthology series ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark’, directed by David Winning in the year 2000. Than, at the age of 13, she did a TV movie ‘Jackie Bouvier Kennedy Onassis’and ‘Radio Active’ a Canadian television program, broadcast on YTV.
In the year 2001 she did a drama film ‘Lost and Delirious’, ‘All Souls’ a horror drama and a TV mini series ‘Dice’.
Than in the coming year she was seen in TV film ‘Redeemer’, ‘No Good Deed’, ‘Glory Days’ and in TV series ‘Everwood’ as a lead role, for which she is best known as Amy Abbott in the WB Television Network’s drama.
In the year 2004 she appeared in ‘A Different Loyalty’ as Jen Tyler. In the year 2005 she appeared in the short film – ‘Rings’ and also in ‘The Rings Two’. As a role of character Kathleen she was seen in the film ‘Black Irish’ in the year 2006.
Than, later in the year 2007 - 2010, VanCamp decided to join the cast of Touchstone Television’s series ‘Brothers & Sisters’. In this series she was playing a role of Rebecca Harper (the daughter of the late William Walker and his secret mistress Holly Harper). Besides this, she was seen in ‘Carriers’ as Kate in the year 2009, than in the year 2010 she appeared in two series – first as Esther in ‘Ben Hur’ (a TV miniseries) and secondly in ‘Norman’ as Emily Parrish.
And in the year 2011, she did two movies firstly with her co-star Treat Williams of ‘Everwood’ she did a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie titled ‘Beyond the Blackboard’ which was telecast on CBS, April 24, 2011 and secondly she was seen as Emily Thorne with the cast ABC’s Drama – ‘Revenge’.
