THE GIVEABILITY STORE | BONDI JUNCTION WESTFIELD | WHO MAGAZINE

During the day on Tuesday, I was invited to the celebration of the pop up of The Giveability store (a glass box, to put it in simple terms) launched by Westfield and WHO Magazine and presented by Miranda Otto at Bondi Junction. The Giveability store is a fashion charity store that stocks second hand designer items which are donated by celebrities and designers to raise much needed funds for children with cerebral palsy. Many major fashion brands and celebs including Kylie Minogue, Rose Byrne, Anthony La Paglia, Melissa George, Naomi Watts, Liev Schrieber and Miranda Otto herself, have joined in this great initiative to support children and their families.

To make this a truly nationwide cause, 5 key items have been put up for auction online on www.westfield.com.au including a ring worn by Drew Barrymore, signed crew tee by Kylie Minogue, Anthony LaPaglia’s jacket, a vanity case by Naomi Watts and Olympic gold medalist Torah Bright’s snowboarding outfit and Roxy snowboard. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

I really think it's a great cause and so good to see people helping children and others in need.

Take the time to watch the videos that records the speeches with Miranda Otto talking about the cause and how it came about, plus also an overview look inside of the store.
