On December 23, 2008 music video premiered exclusively on the I Tunes Store. Director of music video was Philip Andelman. A feature of video as we can say that actor Michael Ealy is act in it. He after that said that, it was my pleasure to work with her and its second time I was asked to do a work in her song. Video started with Knowles standing opposite a wall. Light was on her face which was came from the window. When video moves away it scenes different parts of house. In one scene Knowles dancing and her interest (Michael Ealy) looked her from the balcony. When climax was there Knowles seen underwater moving slowly upwards.

At the last scene Knowles open her eyes and seen Ealy with her and that time only there face were visible. Video was very intimate, romantic, and very beautiful. The scenes which was taken from the house also beautiful. After it there is an alternative version of video released online in may 2010. In that Knowles drives her car and Ealy was chased by the police and police dogs. In a very next scene she parks her car and over there in forest police dogs catch Ealy and open a bag which is full of money. In a last scene of video she finds him in a forest with his dead body.
