Jump leads!

{Jumpsuit/Necklace - Thrifted, Ring - Forever21, Shoes - US}

{Jumpsuit/Necklace - Thrifted, Ring - Forever21, Shoes - Venus Steps, Sheer shirt - Zara}

Every girl should own a LBD (Little Black Dress). True. But I say every girl should also own a LBJ (Little Black Jumpsuit).It's perfect for summers and so so easy to wear. You can dress it up as easily as you can dress it down.I wore my LBJ recently and played with the look to make it classy and casual. For the classy look, I wore a nude pumps & bright fuschia lipstick (it doesn't show up on the camera, I honestly don't know why :/ ). Later while going to the mall, I slipped into my favorite comfortable bellies and threw on a sheer shirt over. I also changed my lippie to my mlbb color as the bright fuschia color was not going with the red shirt. So, with a little this and that you can wear one classic piece in many different ways...Try it yourself!

Color blocking at it's best!

I love this trend the most and recently I came across pictures of a few celebrities rocking this trend. These celebrities have taken it to a whole new level. Now I am restless to try one of these bold color blocked outfits!!Soon soon soon......

This one literally took my breath away. Emma Stone is really stepping up her game. I am impressed!

Yellow against turquoise! Unique!

Ashley Greene is looking breath breathtakingly pretty...

Coral is the hottest color of this season and Jennifer Love Hewitt knows how to work it ;)

Gorgeous clash of colors....innovative!

This is slightly old picture of Rihanna considering her red hair is long gone now but I couldn't resist adding this one. It's so brilliant...she has used her red hair to color block her outfit!

Pretty & preggo Jessica Alba...

Olivia's outfit is gorgoeus gorgeous gorgeous! It's unexpected on her but she is rocking it!

Prettiness!

Sonam Kapoor looks hot on the launch of OK magazine....she is the only hope of bollywood who is not letting India to fall behind in fashion trends.I love love love her fashion sense...so chic!

So, which one's your favorite? For me it's Emma Stone & Sonam Kapoor....

Review: MAC Impassioned (Amplified) Lipstick

First of all, let me confess....I feel stupid smiling at the camera on self-timer...Hats off to the bloggers who do it with so much poise! Nevertheless, I will keep practicing till I master the art.Wish me luck!

I have a story behind this lipstick, I wanted a hot pink lippie since March and I wanted "Girl About Town" or "Hot Pink" by NYX...One day my sister who lives in Mumbai went to NYX counter.She asked me if I wanted anything and I asked her to check if Hot pink was available having very thin hopes (I have been to that store in Mumbai and they DO NOT HAVE a good collection) but coincidentally, Hot Pink was available and being over excited, I asked her to get it for me.When I received the lippie, I was even happier coz the color was exactly what I wanted. After few days of gloating over it, I finally used it one day. And I WAS DISSAPOINTED!! The color was so sheer and too neon!!!! Even on applying 3-4 coats, the color kept sliding on my lips...ugggh! Now I desperately wanted Girl About Town but since I was at my hometown, there was no MAC store available. But as soon as I reached back to Delhi, I rushed to a MAC Counter to buy Girl About Town but when I tried it on, it somehow didn't look good on me! I guess, it was too blue toned for my skin type. I was sooooo dissapointed but then the SA offered me Impassioned, I was still upset and half-heartedly tried the lippie and OMG!! This was the color!!! The perfect hot pink!!!! I bought it without any second thoughts and mahn, I am glad I did!After a month, I still can't get enough of it!he he...

Okay now, onto the review.....

MAC Impassioned Lipstick is a full on Amplified Creme Lipstick and gives a very opaque finish in one swipe.
MAC describes it to be Amped-up fuchsia and I agree with this description. It is bang-on the trend of fuchsia pink lips!

Price - Rs.990/-

What I like about this lipstick:
- The color!!! Perfect hot pink...!!!
- Quite moisturizing, I do not apply any gloss over it.
- Long Lasting...well, it's MAC so, OBVIOUSLY!
- The color do not budge at all, even if it fades, it leaves a strong tint.
- No need to apply any lip liner underneath.
- Color pay-off is amazing!and buildable...

What I don't like about this lipstick:
- well. NOTHING :P

Swatches: Left - 1 swipe, Right - 3 swipes

Lip Swatch

I feel my camera is not doing justice to the color...so click HERE for a more accurate swatch.Yes, that's how neon this lippie is!!!

Timeless classic : A white shirt

{ Shirt - Forever21, Navy Pants - Zara, Gold Flats - Da Milano, Red Bag - Vansons, Bangles & Earrings - Forever21, Belt - Promod}

I find myself fascinated with all the latest trends that flood fashion magazines.I enjoy reading and discovering new trends and feeling inspired...so inspired that I want to incorporate them instantly in my personal style.But sometimes, I just want to wear something that's simple, style it in my own way and just let it be....but still look chic.Like today.

I woke up late and was totally not feeling like going to college today, it has been a hectic week. Still, I dragged myself out of the bed and hopped into shower...but the big problem? I had no idea what to wear...and at such times I revert back to wardrobe essential pieces. BAM! Here comes the white shirt to the rescue! Lately, I have been finding myself drawn to this color...I now own many plain white t-shirts and few shirts. They are no fuss pieces. And I love that about these white beauties. Just a few pop of colors here and there and I am good to go.

P.S.- Yes, that's my new room. Pics have been taken by self-timer and that's the way it's gonna be most of the times till A comes back :/

Are you ready for this jelly!

{Top - Kazo, Printed Pants - Local boutique, Shoes - Asos, Ring - Aldo, Purse - Thrifted}

Finally I gathered the courage to wear printed pants and a bold color together.And judging from the many appreciative glances I got today, I think Delhi is ready to get all sexy and bold. It was a little awkward in metro but I wore a cape over the top so it was not that bad. I would say, ladies, go get your glam on and flaunt what ya got!

Trend Watch: Printed Pants

We wear different kind of tops, different fabrics, different print, different styles but we always wear the same denims below them. This season saw some major life-altering changes (might be an overstatement :P ) in the bottom wear world.We were introduced to hot pink pants...which actually looked hot and not like some 14 year old girl's fetish with the color pink.The red, green & lemon yellow pants have been the talk of the town since the spring/summer 2011 collection hit the stores.Even a brand like Zara, which is known for its neutral basics turned all gems(yes, I am referring to the chocolate). I also made friends with two of them, the hot pink and the sexy red.And saying that I love them to death wouldn't be much of an overstatement.

But now, we are witnessing prints as in printed pants. And if you ask me, I love this trend more than I ever loved color-blocking!!And that says a lot. The trend has been all over the runways in the summer/spring 2011 collection.And many celebrities have been spotted sporting it as well.

I am guessing my take would be a little different than these. I will post the outfit very soon. Let me know what you guys think about this hot trend...

P.S. - I ran into Pallavi from StylePile today at Zara and she was sooo sweet to me...she totally made my day...and Pallavi, it was really really great to run into u!!! Hope to see you soon again... <3
